Same image as yesterday with some subtle, but important changes. With light-painting, especially when using flash, I have a tendency to over-light. Yesterday’s image lost focus (Visual, not image quality), from an over-lit background. I also increased the shadows on the machine to give it more form. Again … subtle, but for me, very important adjustments.

Thanks. As you’ve often said … when shooting, make sure to give yourself plenty of lighting options. Certainly a wise approach, but I do tend to ‘over light’ when compositing. I need to do better at letting the ‘finished’ image rest for a day and then revisit it.
