Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute IV
Finally finished up shooting at the Cancer Institute last week. I don’t know about other architectural photographers, but I love shooting at dawn. This time of the year there aren’t many people stirring at 5am and that makes my work less challenging. With this space, the design clean and crisp, graceful lines, and no need for lighting … it was a serene experience. A welcome departure from the past few hectic months.
Nice work here sir.. any chance you can share the lighting set up as I have a similiarly large area to light in the near future at a university.. Curious if you used speedlights or strobes..or ?
Thanks very much, Paul. The architectural lighting on this project was pretty spectacular and for this series I needed no supplemental lighting.
Wow, I assumed you did some light painting in there as it was early am. The building I am going to do doesn’t have nearly bright enough lighting to turn out as well. Thanks for letting me know.
