Q: How do you know when a photographer is really on vacation? A: The sun’s coming up and he’s eating breakfast. In downtown Lake Placid we found this little ‘hole-in-the-wall’ coffee shop that had good coffee, great muffins, and the coolest little deck overlooking Mirror Lake. And I didn’t feel the least bit guilty leaving the Nikon sleep in … in fact it slept the whole trip!
That just proves it’s not the gear that makes the photographer great!
