A little side-note on composition. With aircraft, at this type of angle, I feel it’s important to show both wings, even if it’s just the tip on the far side. In most cases, since everyone had gone home by the time Don and I started shooting, we were forced to compromise somewhat on composition and here, to eliminate other aircraft and include the restaurant in the background I was forced to live with a one-winged bird. This thing was so gorgeous that even ‘crippled’ it’s a handsome ride.
