Early Morning 1

I’ve always been a morning person. Perhaps it has something to do with growing up on a farm, but I suspect I’m just more drawn to quiet than excitement, and even in cities I usually gravitate toward calmer moments. And city streets in the pre-dawn hours offer the perfect mix of calm and the energy of awakening.

The next four days feature images captured in a timespan of less than twenty minutes and were shot within about a square block area of downtown Lancaster, PA. Little pockets of light living in the fading darkness.
