About a year ago I began exploring the genre of street photography and was quickly hooked. The spirit of life is found in scenes and activities that we often consider ordinary and the opportunity to capture those moments gets me out of be in the morning. A few weeks back I began posting my street work on Flickr with a link to that site on my website, only to realize that those who subscribe to the Lefeverphoto.com may only be viewing my work through an email and be unaware of the Flickr link. So, beginning today I’ll be combining both works into this site, alternating between ‘Street’ (Primarily Black&White) one day and my ‘Traditional’ images (Mostly color) the next. That’s my plan at this point … feel free to share your thoughts!

  1. Thoughts: anyone can take photos of well composed, beautifully lit things, but not everyone can take great photos of life. Much more meaningful, and technical aspects often take a back seat to the big picture. As Pirsig once said we keep passing unseen through little moments of other people’s lives. Lets see more.
