Thanks, Mike. Most times I see the image as a square when shooting, but shoot full frame and crop in post. This is especially true if the subject would require tilting the camera up (which would add keystoning). I would shoot in a vertical format with the ‘square’ image area in the top half of the frame so as not to require as much upward tilt of the camera.
Interesting shot. Just out of curiosity are you cropping or using a square aspect ratio?

It was like an optical illusion when I realized your recent images of vertical buildings was square.
